The Okeechobee Brahmans posted their biggest victory since November 30, 2023 on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bayside 44-15 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Okeechobee also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2022.
Okeechobee was led to victory by John White iii and Corey Wilkerson. White iii scored 12 points along with five steals and two blocks, while Wilkerson dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. White iii is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Oliver Saunders was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Okeechobee has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Bayside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
Okeechobee will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jensen Beach at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Jensen Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Friday. As for Bayside, they will head out on the road to challenge Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sebastian River is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
