The Edison Eagles won the last time they faced the Will Rogers College Ropers, and things went their way on Friday too. Edison came out on top against Will Rogers College by a score of 55-47.
Despite the loss, Will Rogers College had strong showings from Branden Crosslen, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, and Terence Buckley, who scored 9 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Oates iii, who scored 6 points.
The victory got Edison back to even at 1-1. As for Will Rogers College, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Edison will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McAlester at 8:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Will Rogers College, they will be playing at home against Sapulpa at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
