The Suncoast Chargers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Jupiter Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully Suncoast is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jupiter in Florida (Suncoast is ranked 165th, while Jupiter is ranked 424th).
Last Wednesday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Suncoast made off with a 52-51 victory over Wellington. 52 seems to be a good number for Suncoast as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Philleah Bright continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points. Another player making a difference was Candyce Hutchings, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Jupiter's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 50-26 loss at the hands of Forest Hill. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Jupiter has suffered since December 4, 2023.
Suncoast has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Jupiter, they bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Suncoast came up short against Jupiter when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 60-56. Will Suncoast have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get analysis of the match and other basketball content.
