The Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 56-19 win over Ware Shoals on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Christ Church Episcopal has posted since November 28, 2023.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stella Eichorn, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Eichorn is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played.
Christ Church Episcopal's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Ware Shoals, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Christ Church Episcopal on the road again on Tuesday and play against Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Southside Christian will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Ware Shoals, Ware Shoals and Thornwell will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Thornwell comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
