Brookwood has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the McAdory Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 350th, while McAdory is ranked 45th).
Brookwood suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 86-29 loss at the hands of McAdory. Brookwood has struggled against McAdory recently, as their match on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their defeat, Brookwood saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Taylor Crummie, who scored eight points, was perhaps the best of all.
Brookwood has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for McAdory, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
Brookwood was dealt a bruising 86-29 defeat at the hands of McAdory when the teams last played on Friday. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Brookwood was down 52-17.
