Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Sinton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 17-13 win over Jones. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Kylee Smith was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed 7.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
