The Lakeside Lancers will head out to  take on the Vista del Lago Ravens  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Neither  squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.
 Lakeside came up short against  Norco two weeks ago, falling  4-1. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

 Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Vista del Lago after they claimed the first  goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Hillcrest by a score of  2-1. The loss was the Ravens' first of the season.
 Vista del Lago now  has a losing record at 0-1-3. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Lakeside came out on top in a nail-biter against Vista del Lago when the teams last played  back in January, sneaking past  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lakeside since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
