Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Salesian College Preparatory). They claimed a resounding 54-21 victory over the Saint Mary's Panthers. The Pride haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Salesian College Preparatory's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Izeah Buchanan, who threw for 144 yards and four TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlton Perrilliat Jr, who picked up 63 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Salesian College Preparatory didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Saint Mary's to a completion percentage of just 45.8%. The team can thank Perrilliat Jr for the heroic effort on defense: he. Salesian College Preparatory has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.6 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.6 in their last three games.

Salesian College Preparatory didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Salvador Guerra, Perrilliat Jr, Joseph Tarin, and Amari Lyles picked up one apiece. Guerra got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Although Saint Mary's took the loss, they still got scores from Adam Steiner, Aluzio Zarnowiecki, and Khalil Chaney.

Salesian College Preparatory's record is now 8-1. As for Saint Mary's, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
