The Warren Warriors took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They really took it to Morgan for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-28 victory at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-17.
Warren's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Julian Stadelman, who scored 14 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Anthony, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Warren's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Morgan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren will square off against Linsly at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Morgan, they will head out on the road to face off against Federal Hocking at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
