The Enumclaw Hornets will take on the Jefferson Raiders at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Enumclaw's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9  runs per game  this season, so Jefferson's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Jefferson will be up against a hot Enumclaw  squad: the  team just extended their winning streak to three. Enumclaw came out on top against White River by a score of  6-1  on Wednesday.
 Cooper Markham made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out 14 batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Cole Chiechi, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.  Graham Wagner was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI.
Meanwhile, Jefferson can  bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   5-1  win over Liberty.
 Uzziah Maldonado-Manzo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on three hits.
 On the hitting side,  Myles Myers was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  triple was  his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Kort Baker, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  RBI.
 Enumclaw's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
 Jefferson's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Monday. Enumclaw has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 9.1  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Jefferson, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.8  strikeouts. Will Enumclaw keep running through batters, or will the Raiders buck the trend?
