Baseball Recap: Roanoke Valley Christian Has No Trouble Against Westover Christian Academy

After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Roanoke Valley Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past the Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs 13-2 on Monday. The EAGLES haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Colton Bowman made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Josh Kraciuk was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Mioduszewski, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Roanoke Valley Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Roanoke Valley Christian's record is now 5-8. As for Westover Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
