That's the first time this season that Alexander scored 15 or more points. Kai Conerly was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas Catholic came up short against Parish Episcopal on December 8th and fell 68-58. While losing is never fun, St. Thomas Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while Parish Episcopal is ranked 72nd).
Lutheran South Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for St. Thomas Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
