The Boca Raton Bobcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Atlantic 72-44 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Boca Raton has posted since November 21, 2023.
Atlantic lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Myrella Guerra-Oliveira, who scored 17 points. Elanie Sullard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Boca Raton's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-6. As for Atlantic, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2.
Boca Raton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wellington at 2:00 p.m. on January 13th. Wellington will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while Boca Raton is ranked 31st). As for Atlantic, Atlantic and Olympic Heights will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
