Cardinal Gibbons came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Sophie Cygnarowicz made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
