The Immaculate Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Bethel Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (Immaculate is ranked 38th, while Bethel is ranked 54th).
Immaculate came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Brookfield by a score of 43-32 on Monday.
Immaculate's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Callie Miller led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kristina Asmani, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Bethel's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell to Masuk 55-49.
Immaculate's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Bethel, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Immaculate beat Bethel 49-36 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Immaculate since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
