Huntingdon and Penns Valley Area are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2018, but likely not for long.   Ashton Steele was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Steele was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Eric Mykut was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Jack Foster, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Penns Valley Area came up short against Juniata on Friday and fell  11-6.
 Huntingdon came out on top in a nail-biter against Penns Valley Area  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023, sneaking past  6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Huntingdon since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
