Dunlap extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Tessa Arnott. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Galesburg Silver Streaks on Monday, sneaking past 2-1 for which the team can thank Arnott, who had 16 digs, 14 kills, and three blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 23 games she's played.

Dunlap had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Dunlap's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caroline Holmes led the charge by getting ten digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Holmes is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Matheny, who had ten blocks, nine kills, and four digs.

Galesburg's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evelin Guel, who had 11 assists and ten digs.

Dunlap's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Galesburg, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 11-14 record.

Dunlap didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Canton on the 14th. As for Galesburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Geneseo on the 14th.
