Pensacola Catholic found their leader in underclassman Riley Walsh, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. Walsh hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenecia Swindell, who scored 7 points.
Destin now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Pensacola Catholic, they pushed their record up to 2-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Destin will look to defend their home court on Monday against L.E.A.D. Academy at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (L.E.A.D. Academy is ranked 360th, while Destin is ranked 354th). Pensacola Catholic will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Northview at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th.
