While Rolla's win against Battle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs skirted past the Spartans 6-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Rolla has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Battle, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

Rolla has already played their next match, a 10-4 win against Licking on the 6th. As for Battle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-4 loss against Smith-Cotton on the 6th.
