The Red Lion Christian Academy Lions will square off against the Archmere Academy Auks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Lion Christian Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Red Lion Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past McKean 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Dom Liguori was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other pitching news, Brayden Redmond looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Gavin Lindo was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tryston Sutton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.
Red Lion Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McKean only posted an OBP of .259.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Archmere Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Wilmington Friends 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Auks in their matchups with the Quakers: they've now won five in a row.
Archmere Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
Red Lion Christian Academy beat Archmere Academy 4-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Auks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
