Center has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Bear River Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Center was able to grind out a solid victory over Wheatland, taking the game 61-48.
Center can attribute much of their success to Terrill Reid, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and five rebounds, and Dominic Johnson, who scored 32 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Nisi, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Even though Bear River has not done well against Marysville recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Bear River walked away with a 49-42 victory over Marysville. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bear River.
Center now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Bear River, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.
