Jones Posts Huge Game in 33-28 Defeat
Starting off the list is St. Petersburg's Jeffery Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 75 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 119 rushing yards.
St. Petersburg moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Jones and St. Petersburg will play host again on Friday to welcome Osceola, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m.

Osceola picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dylan Xayasongkham. Nobody could stop Xayasongkham as he made five total tackles and defended a pass. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Countryside had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Xayasongkham it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Xayasongkham saw the Cougars), he forced a fumble, made eight total tackles, and defended seven passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Keatin Emener Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Northeast got the W thanks in part to Keatin Emener playing the best football he has all season. Emener rushed for 12 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 137 yards and a touchdown.
With the victory, Northeast broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. Emener and Northeast will face off against Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Gavin Galish Delivers Best Effort of Season
Gavin Galish produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Osceola to the win on Friday. Galish threw for 183 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes.
