There's no place like home for the Crane Medical Cougars, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on Wells with a sharp 63-43 victory on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Crane Medical has posted since December 4, 2023.
Crane Medical's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brad Blackman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Blackman is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was William Hill, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Crane Medical's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Wells, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crane Medical will challenge Perspectives-IIT/Joslin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wells, they will head out on the road to square off against Raby at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
