Volleyball Recap: Brookwood Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Brookwood waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Druid Hills Red Devils by a score of 2-0. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

While Brookwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23.

Peyton Jenkins paced Brookwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Jenkins got some help from Alyssa Feder and her 15 assists. Feder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Druid Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Brookwood and Druid Hills will both be playing Lakeside the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will head out to face the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
