Okoboji will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Sibley-Ocheyedan at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Okoboji had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-66 to Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn.
Meanwhile, Sibley-Ocheyedan couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-39 punch to the gut against Sheldon last Friday.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
