Crisp Academy suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Westwood on the road and fell 82-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crisp Academy in their matchups with Westwood: they've now lost seven in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Wilk Stephens, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Reed, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Fullington Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Southwest Georgia Academy 53-49.
Crisp Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Fullington Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
Crisp Academy was taken down by Fullington Academy 68-30 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Crisp Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
