On Friday East Jefferson will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to  square off against the West Jefferson Buccaneers  at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Friday, East Jefferson was able to grind out a solid  win over Bonnabel, taking the game  17-7.
 East Jefferson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over.  Malcolm Jones picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.  Iago Henrique was another major factor on D,  picking up  two  sacks and making six total tackles (3.0 for loss).
 Meanwhile, West Jefferson didn't have too much trouble with L.W. Higgins on the road   on Friday as they won  25-6.
 The  victory  got East Jefferson back to even at 3-3. As for West Jefferson, their win  ended  an  eight-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-3.
 Things could have been worse for East Jefferson, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took  a  41-27 loss to West Jefferson in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023. Can East Jefferson avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
