The Peak to Peak Pumas lost against the Silver Creek Raptors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Peak to Peak suffered a tough 68-44 loss at the hands of Silver Creek.
Several Pumas players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Clay Putthoff, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds. Nyima Chonden was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Silver Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabe Selby, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The game was Selby's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Schmeeckle, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Peak to Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Silver Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Peak to Peak will take on Coal Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Coal Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Tuesday. As for Silver Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berthoud at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berthoud has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 208 points over their last three games.
