The Antonian Prep Apaches will challenge the TMI-Episcopal Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Antonian Prep has 13 straight victories, TMI-Episcopal has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, Antonian Prep got the win against Incarnate Word by a conclusive 15-3. Considering the Apaches have won 15 matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ale Santoyo made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Khloe Villanueva was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Isabella Gonzalez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.
Antonian Prep hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in nine consecutive games.
