It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Shelbyville Dragons had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Groveton. The win was just what Shelbyville needed coming off of a 62-34 defeat in their prior contest.
Shelbyville's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Groveton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Shelbyville will face off against Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. One thing working in Cooper's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last nine games. Groveton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
