The Westlake Christian Academy Eagles lost against the Christian Life Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Westlake Christian Academy lost to Christian Life on the road by a decisive 61-42 margin.
Despite the defeat, Westlake Christian Academy had strong showings from Asa Anderson, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists, and Grayson Howe, who scored 15 points. Howe also scored 15 points for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Lovelace, who scored four points.
Westlake Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Christian Life, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westlake Christian Academy will take on Trinity Oaks Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Christian Life, they will play host again and welcome Alden-Hebron, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
