Skyview has gone 8-2 against Emmett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hawks will be playing at home against the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Skyview's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Emmett has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
Skyview is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Owyhee, who was ranked first at the time (Skyview was ranked second). The Hawks took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm on Saturday. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Khloe Howard made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Bittinger, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Emmett). Everything went their way against Columbia on Thursday as they made off with a 26-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Huskies needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
The team relied heavily on Chloe Scott, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Maci Haskins was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.
Emmett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Columbia only managed four.
Having lost for the first time this season, Skyview fell to 8-1. As for Emmett, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Skyview hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Emmett struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Skyview's way against Emmett in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Skyview made off with a 17-7 victory. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
