Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton/Warsaw Titans vs. Rushville-Industry Rockets

Hamilton/Warsaw is 6-1 against Rushville-Industry since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Hamilton/Warsaw Titans will head out to take on the Rushville-Industry Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Hamilton/Warsaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.1 points per game this season.

Hamilton/Warsaw fought the good fight in their overtime game against Canton on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 55-53.

Despite the loss, Hamilton/Warsaw got top-tier performance from Jadyn Climer, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 19 boards. With that strong performance, Climer is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Dettriona Church, who posted eight points.

Even though they lost, Hamilton/Warsaw smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Rushville-Industry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Quincy Notre Dame 67-20. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 465th, while the Raiders are ranked 11th).

Rushville-Industry's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Hamilton/Warsaw, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-8.

Hamilton/Warsaw skirted past Rushville-Industry 40-37 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Does Hamilton/Warsaw have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rushville-Industry turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
