The Jordan Red Jackets pushed their score all the way to 67 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rutland. Jordan has not had much luck with Rutland recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Keadon Knight was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points for Rutland. Another player making a difference was Elijah Brooks, who scored 15 points.
Jordan bumped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Rutland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will square off against Kendrick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kendrick focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Tuesday. As for Rutland, Rutland and Northeast will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Northeast is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
