The Pueblo Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Maricopa Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pueblo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

Pueblo lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Sahuaro, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. Pueblo was the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Sahuaro on Monday.

Ivan Vasquez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Roman Otero was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Arian Roman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Pueblo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sahuaro only posted an OBP of .167.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Maricopa's offense. They lost 10-0 to Mesa on Wednesday. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Maricopa's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pueblo, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Maricopa's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pueblo hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .362.
