The Harrison Central Red Rebels lost against the Gulfport Admirals back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Harrison Central took a serious blow against Gulfport, falling 49-7. Harrison Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.
Despite the loss, Harrison Central still got an impressive performance from Tyree Barnett, who picked up 128 receiving yards and a touchdown. Barnett's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards.
Nicholas Williams got back to being his usual excellent self, as he threw for 324 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Gavin Brown, who picked up 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Harrison Central has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Gulfport, their win was their third straight on the road , which pushed their record up to 6-4.
Harrison Central will face off against Brandon at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Brandon is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games. As for Gulfport, they will look to defend their home field on November 10th against Pearl at 7:00 p.m. Pearl is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
