On Friday, The Westside Seminoles''s game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 27-21 win over Howard. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westside.
Kadiphius Iverson was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jessie Bell, who rushed for 95 yards.
Howard's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaylon Johnson, who picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Camareon (cam) taylor was another key contributor, throwing for 148 yards and two touchdowns.
Westside's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Howard, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Westside will head out on the road to face off against New Hampstead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Howard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
