High Point lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ibrahim Turay, who scored 23 points along with three steals. That was a full 38.3% of High Point's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadan Solomonraj, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
High Point's loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Suitland, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Point will take on Bladensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bladensburg and High Point are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Suitland, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Friendly at 2:45 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Friendly is ranked 209th, while Suitland is ranked 187th).
