 Despite the  defeat, Southwest had strong showings from  Steve Robinson, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and  Jamarea Watkins, who picked up 240 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Even though they lost, Southwest was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 213  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  since  the start of last season.
 Jefferson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
