The Pioneer Valley Panthers were the 70-24 winner over the River City Raiders when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Pioneer Valley had to suffer through a rough 84-40 loss at the hands of River City.
River City was led to victory by Diego Villanueva and Tyrone Orr. Villanueva scored 14 points, while Orr scored 16 points. The match was Orr's third in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Tran was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Pioneer Valley now has a losing record at 3-4. As for River City, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Pioneer Valley will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Santa Maria at 10:00 a.m. on December 2nd. As for River City, they will take on Morro Bay at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
