The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They snuck past Gary with a 57-53 win. This was payback for Mt. Enterprise, who suffered a 59-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Mt. Enterprise found their leader in underclassman Kaegan Ash, who scored 31 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Ash has scored at least 25% of Mt. Enterprise's points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Durrett, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Mt. Enterprise pushed their record up to 8-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Gary, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Enterprise will play host again and welcome Colmesneil, where tip off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Colmesneil is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
