Friday just wasn't the day for the Sammamish RedHawks's offense. They took a serious blow against Enumclaw, falling 77-0. While losing is never fun, Sammamish can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Enumclaw is ranked 42nd).
Ethan Coldiron threw for 28 yards on three of 20 attempts. On the ground, Ty Webster rushed for 94 yards.
Enumclaw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wyatt Neu, who rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 62 receiving yards. Neu really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run. Tristan Donovan was another key contributor, rushing for 101 yards and three touchdowns.
Sammamish's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Enumclaw, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
Sammamish does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Enumclaw will look to defend their home field on Friday against Othello at 6:00 p.m. Othello is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
