A Season-Best Performance from Jojo Adams Leads Whitehouse over Nacogdoches
On Friday, Whitehouse got the W thanks in part to Jojo Adams playing the best football he has all season. Adams rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 233 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.2% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.
The victory got Whitehouse back to even at 4-4. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats takes on Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Keyunta Lias Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Marshall got the W thanks in part to Keyunta Lias playing the best football he has all season. Lias rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. He has become a key player for Marshall: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
Marshall is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Lias and Marshall will head out to face off against Nacogdoches at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tradarian Ball Goes Supernova in Texas Victory
Tradarian Ball's big game helped extend Texas's winning streak to eight on Friday. Ball was dynamite, rushing for 68 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also picking up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Ball must have Mt. Pleasant's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Ball rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and Mt. Pleasant duked it out back in September of 2023.

Ahmad Moore Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Ahmad Moore produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Texas to the win on Friday. Moore rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Moore has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 54.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 2.71 rushing yards per game.

Tyren Mathews Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Tyren Mathews of Nacogdoches. Mathews' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Nacogdoches now has a losing record at 3-4. Mathews and Nacogdoches will look to defend their home field on Friday against Marshall at 7:30 p.m.
