If Grand Junction was feeling good fresh off their 11-2 takedown of Silver Creek last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Grand Junction fell just short of the Castle View Sabercats by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Grand Junction saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Henderson, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Grand Junction's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Castle View, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Grand Junction will host Grandview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Grandview will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Grand Junction surely won't give up without a fight. As for Castle View, they will venture away from home to take on Fruita Monument at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Castle View is facing Fruita Monument at the right time seeing as Fruita Monument is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
