 For Dardanelle's part,  Jaysa Daniel made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Daniel has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in three consecutive pitching appearances. Daniel was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kalea Kane, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-5.  Elizabeth Earnest was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Dardanelle, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waldron will take on Cossatot River at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Dardanelle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westside at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
