Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bishop walked away with it. They came out on top against the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders by a score of 71-63 on Wednesday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 72-62 victory the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Bishop's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Mater Dei Catholic, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13.

Coming up, Bishop's will face off against Rancho Bernardo at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.9 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Mater Dei Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
