In what's become a running theme this season, the Daniel Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pendleton 75-34 on the road. That 41 points margin sets a new team best for Daniel this season.
Daniel's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tristyn Carrington led the charge by scoring 11 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Will Swann, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Daniel has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Pendleton, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10.
Daniel will take on Crescent at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crescent will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Daniel is ranked 47th). As for Pendleton, they will head out on the road to take on Walhalla at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walhalla knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Pendleton likes a good challenge.
