Rindi Amos made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off nine hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
