Given Wray's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Haxtun is ranked 270th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ruiz has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alex Trejo, who scored ten points along with eight steals.
