The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Addilynn Tracy was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mylee Tracy, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two triples, and four RBI. That's the most triples she has posted since back in May of 2024. Lucie Dion was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .692. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Greenfield/Northwestern not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th. They put the hurt on Routt Catholic with a sharp 14-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Lainey Frank made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Frank was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Greenfield/Northwestern got a massive performance out of Kalynn Weller, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillian McAdams, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Greenfield/Northwestern's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Greenfield/Northwestern, though, as they've been averaging only 3.5 strikeouts. Will Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia keep running through batters, or will the Tigers buck the trend?
